内容紹介：

　この研究資料集は、水戸地域の地質のうち、地形・鮮新統・第四系についての報告である。本地域の調査研究は，地質調査所時代に周辺地域と合わせて、坂本　亨（故人）を中心に進められていた。その後、山元孝広が改めて本地域の第四系を対象とした野外調査と室内研究を実施し、令和3年に原稿を取りまとめている。本研究資料集では、この原稿に若干手を加えたものを公開する。
